Terracotta carbon cooking pot [Puchero de Pereruela] (1/4 l) ( 12 x 10 cm)
The carbon puchero of Pereruela are unique due to the composition of clays found in the area and because they are made from two different types of clay. They are composed of a heavy, slow-drying red clay which gives the pieces its strength, and a white clay containing quartz, feldspar, and mica that can be seen with the naked eye and gives the pieces its refractive properties.
The puchero is ideal for any meal with high liquid level duo to its longitudinal shape.
Recommendation exclusively for the first use (to cook): immerse it in water for 24 hours, let it dry and start using it over low heat to increase slowly.
PLEASE NOTE: This product is handmade, so each piece is unique. Because of the handcrafted nature of the product, measurements, shape, color, and finish may vary slightly from the product shown in the picture.
